Procurement: Electric and Natural Gas Supply

Choosing an energy supplier can be difficult, confusing, and time-consuming. We represent you, not the supplier, in the procurement process.

Do you know there are different offerings and adders that effect your energy choice? Your energy bills include multiple adders, surcharges, taxes, service fees and finally the actual cost of the energy itself. The energy cost is called a basis cost. It is also referred to as the uniform clearing price or market clearing price and is set when the generation supply meets consumer demand. Depending on the market, your energy price options could include: Fixed or Variable energy costs, Hourly Pricing, Monthly Pricing, Hybrid Pricing, and Fixed or Variable adders.

Not all pricing is compared ‘apples-to-apples’. We take the time to understand your business needs and provide a suitable management strategy; delivering the most economical and practical solutions for your business’ energy costs.

Energy markets consist of multiple approved organizations bid and purchase bulk power to distribute to consumers. These organizations then sell the power (supply) to the consumer (demand). They include utilities and ESCOs (third-party suppliers). Brokers represent organizations that are not an actual supplier of the energy but sell for one or more ESCOs. No matter who technically owns the power running through your building(s) (your supplier), the utility owns and maintains the pipes and wires transporting that power.
