Michael Riester is the Founder and President of National Power Source. His experience in the energy industry covers over 30 years from the well head to the burner tip on the natural gas side and 20 years of retail electricity experience.
Working in exploration and development of natural gas reserves from 1981 through 1989, Michael drilled and developed natural gas fields in New York under his company, New York Energy. When deregulation arrived Michael entered the natural gas retail markets working with TXU energy services. IN 2006, he founded National Power Source, LLC.
Michael is a triathlete who has completed a Bachelor's degree in Geological Sciences and has earned his MBA, with a concentration in Finance, from SUNY at Buffalo in 1989.
